Water Slides and Water Ride Headline Bold Yas Waterworld Expansion

The eagerly awaited water park expansion project of 2025 has officially opened at Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi, introducing 20 new rides and experiences across a vast area of 13,000 square metres (140,000 square feet). Notable features include the region’s first side-by-side duelling inner tube slide—Inner Tube Parallel Pursuit, the first Blaster Battle + Slingshot Fusion in the area, and the world’s first Mini Blaster Fusion combined with Mini Rattler. The standout attraction is the world’s first water ride—a Shoot the Chute—integrated into a water slide tower, featuring a 20-seat boat that plunges 15 metres from the mouth of the mythical Bahamut fish, creating the largest and loudest splash ever witnessed in a water park.

A Whimsical Alpine Adventure for All at Bavarian Blast

Designed with charming German motifs, Bavarian Blast is Michigan’s largest indoor water park, transforming the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth into a year-round resort destination. This impressive 170,000-square-foot (13,800-square-metre) venue features a delightful mix of 16 slides, including the state’s first dual mat racing slides—Mat Parallel Pursuit, the world’s first Inner Tube Parallel Pursuit, and a Python + Constrictor 6-person raft ride for shared adventures. Additionally, two storybook-themed kids’ slides, made possible through WhiteWater’s advanced fiberglass veiling technology, enhance the experience. With a cuckoo clock spilling water onto excited children below and an authentically decorated May Pole, Bavarian Blast immerses families in joyful alpine vibes.

Private Destination with Splash and Style: Celebration Key

Carnival Cruise Line’s private destination on Grand Bahama, Celebration Key, offers guests an exclusive tropical paradise, complete with a beach, lagoons, a splash pad, and the iconic “Suncastle.” From this structure, two exhilarating body slides, each over 350 feet (107 metres) long, launch thrill-seekers, enhanced by vibrant bursts of colour through AquaLucent effects.

Summer Savanna Outdoor Waterpark at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions – Round Rock

Featuring honeybees, flowers, ladybugs, and dragonflies, the Summer Savanna Outdoor Waterpark at Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, Texas, is the first park to showcase a set of kids’ slides adorned with delightful nature themes. These slides create a charming backdrop in the Bugs Burrow kids’ area, perfect for capturing precious moments of little ones to share with family and friends.
