Exciting Return of Volcano Bay Nights This Autumn

Universal Orlando‘s Volcano Bay water park is set to revive its thrilling nighttime event, Volcano Bay Nights, this autumn season.

Combining exhilarating aquatic attractions with live entertainment, Volcano Bay Nights made its inaugural appearance in April and May of this year, marking the water park’s first-ever evening event.

This exciting experience will return on 5 September, taking place every Friday night until 31 October.

Guests can look forward to an unforgettable beach bash, featuring rides, a live DJ, and meet-and-greet opportunities with beloved characters like Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Fred, Daphne, and even villains such as Ghost Clown from the animated series.

Live entertainment throughout Volcano Bay will include a vibrant beach party at Waturi Beach, complete with a live DJ and photo opportunities with the iconic Mystery Machine from Scooby-Doo.

Additionally, attendees can indulge in complimentary snacks, including churro bites served with mango or chocolate dipping sauce, as well as pineapple and coconut popcorn.

Special menu items will be available for purchase at Kohola Reef Restaurant & Social Club, Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona, and select snack stands.

Since its opening in 2017, Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay has offered guests a sprawling 25-acre water park featuring over 30 slides and attractions, ranging from a hydro-magnetic waterslide coaster to a multi-directional wave pool.

This autumn, Universal Orlando will also host the Halloween Horror Nights event, showcasing new haunted houses inspired by Five Nights at Freddy’s, WWE’s The Wyatt Sicks, Friday the 13th‘s Jason Voorhees, Amazon Prime Video’s drama series Fallout, and the Terrifier film franchise.

In other news, revenue increased by 19 percent at Universal’s theme parks during the second quarter of 2025, thanks to the new Epic Universe destination in Orlando, Florida.
