Royal Caribbean Launches New Beach Club in Bahamas by December 2025

Exciting Developments at the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island

Royal Caribbean is set to unveil a new island destination known as Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in the Bahamas, scheduled to open in December 2025.

This expansive 17-acre beach club located on the western side of Paradise Island will feature stunning beaches, inviting pools, the world’s largest swim-up bar, seven beach bars, over 40 cabanas, and a variety of experiences showcasing Bahamian artists.

The attraction marks the inaugural site in Royal Caribbean’s new Royal Beach Club Collection, which aims to cater to every type of family and vacationer, ensuring they can enjoy their perfect beach day, regardless of the atmosphere they desire, as stated by Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International.

“With the first-of-its-kind Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, we continue to super-serve our guests with a tailored experience at one of our most highly visited destinations, building on nearly five decades of collaboration with the community and government of the Bahamas,” he further explained.

The site will be organised into three distinct zones: Family Beach, Chill Beach, and Party Cove. As mentioned, it will be developed and operated in collaboration with the Bahamian government.

Royal Caribbean cruise ships will have the opportunity to visit the beach club on Paradise Island from six US ports: Baltimore, Cape Liberty (New York), New Jersey, Galveston (Texas), Fort Lauderdale (Miami), and Port Canaveral (Orlando).

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is part of an expansion of the cruise company‘s land-based destinations, which also includes Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas.

Icon Class Fleet Expansion Continues

Moreover, Royal Beach Club Cozumel in Mexico is set to join the Royal Beach Club Collection in 2026, with Royal Caribbean planning to launch Perfect Day Mexico in 2027.

In other news, Royal Caribbean’s expansion of its Icon class fleet is progressing, with construction on its third ship in the lineup currently underway.

This expansion commenced with the debut of Icon of the Seas this year, which is recognised as the world’s largest cruise ship featuring the largest water park at sea.

Following this, Star of the Seas is anticipated to set sail in the summer of 2025.
