Text:
When a water park has been in operation for an extended period, the slides often sustain damage due to various reasons, posing a challenge for managers on how to **repair** them. Here are the maintenance steps provided by HZQ, a manufacturer with over a decade of experience in operating slides:
1. The **damaged** area should be polished using 400# water sandpaper.
2. Before commencing the **repair**, it is crucial to eliminate any dust and water from the area to be repaired. The colour of the **repairing** gel coat must match that of the slide.
3. The **repair** gel coat must have a curing agent added at a ratio of 100:1.5, ensuring thorough mixing.
4. The **repaired** area should be level with the original slide surface. For larger damaged areas, the **repair** can be divided into two stages.
5. After the **repair**, allow approximately 2 hours for the curing agent to harden. Subsequently, use 600# – 800# – 1000# to 1200# water sandpaper to polish the area until it is smooth.
6. Once the surface is smooth, apply No. 3 polishing oil to give it a shiny finish.
7. The **product** is now successfully **repaired** and ready for use.
