ProSlide Celebrates IAAPA Expo Europe 2024 Success
ProSlide Technology Inc., an industry leader in water ride manufacturing and design, is celebrating the success of IAAPA Expo Europe 2024 in Amsterdam, which showcased the evolving landscape of European water parks.
Europe boasts a rich history of theme parks and water parks, and this inspiring event illustrated how the market is progressing through innovative ideas that resonate with today’s visitors.

Siam Park, located in Tenerife, has been recognised as the World’s #1 Water Park by Tripadvisor for ten consecutive years. Maintaining its status as a premier water park, it was awarded the “Best of the Best” at the Park World Excellence Awards this year.

The park’s general manager, Christoph Kiessling, and his team, who come from zoological backgrounds, are deeply committed to environmental sustainability. Siam Park implements various sustainability initiatives to protect the natural beauty of the Canary Islands and has been designated as a Biosphere Certified Park.
The park’s owner, Wolfgang Kiessling, has also received recognition at the Park World Excellence Awards. The attractions veteran was honoured with the Industry Icon Operator Award for his decades of contributions at Loro Parque and Siam Park.
Additionally, Aqualibi, Belgium’s leading indoor water park, has undergone a transformation this year. ProSlide has partnered with Compagnie Des Alpes to create a stunning architectural design featuring four of the finest water rides globally, positioning Aqualibi as a new benchmark for indoor water parks in Europe.
Setting the Standard
ProSlide’s innovative water coasters continue to set the benchmark in Europe and the Middle East, enhancing brand visibility and improving guest experiences. Attractions such as SINGHA and SAIFA at Siam Park, Turtle Coaster at The Land of Legends, MammothBLAST at Aquashow, Banzai at Aqualibi, and Medusa’s Lair and Shock Wave at Atlantis Aquaventure Dubai are achieving high attendance and visitor satisfaction.

Looking ahead, the 2025 IAAPA Honors ceremony is scheduled to take place at Europa-Park. The park’s water world, Rulantica, has been a global leader in indoor water park experiences since its inception in 2019. It continues to grow with world-class additions such as ProSlide’s RideHOUSE, Svalgurok, in 2021, and its RallyRACER, Vikingløp, in 2023.
