Effective Water Slide Pool Maintenance Techniques

1. Algae Control and Bacteriostasis:

To maintain a clean and safe water slide swimming pool, it is essential to manage algae and bacteria. This can be achieved by adding 2-3 kg of copper sulfate per 1000 cubic metres of water. For treating new water, the amount should be doubled to effectively eliminate algae and inhibit bacterial growth. It is advisable to commence the subsequent steps approximately two hours after administering the treatment.

2. Sterilisation and Disinfection:

For effective sterilisation, use trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA), a strongly chlorinated compound, in powder or tablet form. The recommended dosage is 2 g per cubic metre of water. Ideally, this should be done 1-2 hours before the pool opens. If additional chemicals are added midway, for every 0.5 ppm increase, the remaining chlorine content should be increased by 0.5 g per cubic metre. 3. Water Purification Agent Release (Precipitation):

Polyaluminium chloride, in powder form, is typically used at a dosage of 5-10 grams per cubic metre of water. After administering, allow the water to circulate for about half an hour. Once the alum becomes visible in the water, let it stand for 6-8 hours. This process is crucial for maintaining the clarity and quality of the water.

4. Sewage Suction:

Once precipitation is complete, proceed with the sewage suction treatment. This step ensures the removal of any settled impurities, keeping the pool pristine and inviting.

Note: During steps 1-4, if a water circulation system is available, it should be activated to evenly distribute the injected reagents. In the absence of a circulation system, manual distribution is necessary. For further guidance on water slide disinfection and maintenance, consult the experts at Lanchao.
