Honoring August 1: Lovely People
August 1st marks Army Day, a significant anniversary celebrating the establishment of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. This day is observed annually on the first of August, having been instituted by the People’s Revolutionary Military Committee of China. It serves to honour the inception of the Red Army, which was formed by the workers and peasants of China.
