Ensuring Safety and Efficiency in Water Park Operations

Power consumption peaks can destabilise the electric voltage, causing it to drop below the required 220V. It’s crucial to heed the warning that no voltage under 210V should be used for any electrical equipment. Failing to do so could overheat motors, damage equipment, disrupt operations, and impact profits. This is particularly important for water purification systems, where all electrical wires must be at least 2.5 square, with no series connections, no simultaneous use of other high-frequency motors, no loose motor wire connections, and no partially stripped rubber. Maintaining a constant 220V voltage is essential.

Pay attention to the heat dissipation of mechanical and electrical facilities. Fans can operate continuously for 7 to 8 hours at 30°C, according to tests. If temperatures exceed 30°C, stop the fan or replace it with a new one. It’s advisable to have several backup fans for each water slide equipment. Ensure all electric wires are waterproof.

Regularly clean the water in all amusement equipment to meet national standards. Successful operations leave no room for being penny wise and pound foolish.

Be vigilant about exposed wires and sockets, and implement preventive measures against slipping and theft. Neglecting these can be costly and damage the reputation of the water park, so caution is paramount.

All equipment must be under professional supervision and evacuation. Each piece of equipment requires a responsible person to oversee operations and guide users. Only one player should be on each slide at a time. The next player should wait at the top until the previous one reaches the bottom, ensuring no more than two people are at the top simultaneously.

Ensure all equipment is in normal and safe condition through comprehensive inspections before each use. Professionals should conduct daily inspections multiple times to identify and address potential hazards. Any faults must be resolved before equipment can be restarted. Supervisors should keep fans, motors, wires, and plugs out of players’ reach to prevent electric shock risks. Professional electricians must regularly check the automatic power-off device for the cabinet and ensure there is no electrical leakage. Any abnormalities require immediate solutions, and equipment can only be used once the solution is tested and effective.

Adverse weather and darkness hinder normal usage. Outdoor water slides should not be used in bad weather, such as winds of force 3 or above, thunder, rain, or snow. All equipment must be securely fastened, with no exceeding capacity, load, height, or weight limits. A single device should not have more than two players with a combined weight over 120kg.

All water slide equipment must be inspected and repaired before use. Check that parts are securely fastened, stands are anchored to the ground, and wind-guard ropes are firmly attached to holders. The water park is ready for enjoyment, provided all equipment is thoroughly secured. Regular inspections are the safety guarantee for water slides. For any abnormal occurrences, such as leakage or breakage, halt operations immediately.
