Disneyland Paris Tops Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards

Disneyland Paris has replaced Siam Park in the top spot in the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice awards category for best theme parks and water parks in the world.

Siam Park in Tenerife has been voted the world’s best water park, a category now merged with best amusement park, in the Tripadvisor awards for eight consecutive years.

The park is in second place in 2024, followed by Ferrari World Abu Dhabi in third place, Brazil’s Beto Carrero World in fourth, and Waterbom Bali in fifth.

Dollywood is this year’s top theme park in the US in the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice awards, ahead of Magic Kingdom at Disney World, and Fun Spot America in Kissimmee.

“I’m so thrilled about what our guests say about what we’re doing at Dollywood,” Dolly Parton said in a statement (via Knoxville News Sentinel).

The UK’s top theme park in the Tripadvisor awards is Alton Towers, followed by the Milky Way Adventure Park in Clovelly and Drayton Manor.

Bianca Sammut, divisional director at Alton Towers, said in a statement: “We feel incredibly privileged to have been recognised as the top UK theme park for the second year in a row, and to achieve an outstanding 8th place worldwide.”
