Disney Destiny Cruise: Heroic and Villainous Experiences Revealed

Exciting Experiences Aboard the New Disney Destiny Cruise Ship

Disney has unveiled a range of villainous and heroic experiences that will be featured on the Disney Destiny, a new cruise ship set to embark this November.

The ship’s grand hall will be a dynamic space, showcasing 360-degree lighting effects and a fresh design inspired by Marvel Studios’ Black Panther.

This area will morph and “capture the essence of some of the most iconic villains, rogues, and mischief-makers from Disney and Marvel lore,” as stated by Disney in a recent blog post.

One of the transformations will centre around Marvel’s Loki, who will make an attempt to proclaim himself as the ruler of the ship.

Moreover, the Disney Destiny will feature attractions inspired by Cruella de Vil from One Hundred and One Dalmatians, which will include a piano lounge and two entertainment experiences.

One of these experiences will be a fashion-themed event on “Cruella’s very own wretched runway,” according to Disney.

Guests may also encounter Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog lurking in the grand hall, showcasing a “dazzling parlor trick or sleight of hand.”

Additionally, Sleeping Beauty‘s Maleficent will be present at the Saga entertainment lounge, where she will perform a magic demonstration.

Also making its debut on the Disney Destiny is a Broadway-style stage adaptation of Hercules, featuring the film’s soundtrack.

The show will include live performances of beloved songs such as ‘Go the Distance’, ‘Zero to Hero’, and ‘I Won’t Say I’m in Love’.

In keeping with the film, the Muses will serve as the storytellers for this production.

Award-winning puppet designer Michael Curry is creating large puppets to depict mythological creatures, including the multi-headed Hydra monster.

Disney Hercules will be one of three stage shows featured aboard the new ship, alongside Frozen, A Musical Spectacular and Disney Seas the Adventure.

Finally, for the first time in Disney Cruise Line history, a Marvel hero will be the signature character at the stern of the Disney Destiny.

Currently in its final stages of completion, a Spider-Man sculpture will be prominently displayed on the back of the ship.
