Chimelong Water Park, Guangzhou, China
Chimelong Water Park in Guangzhou is not only the most popular water park in Asia, but it also ranks as the most visited in the world, surpassing attendance figures of Walt Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach in Florida. This aquatic park opened its doors in China in 2007.
WhiteWater provided slides, including the first Family Python in China. ProSlide Technology Inc. announced a new partnership with the attraction in November 2024.
The park features vibrant slides and tubing rides, along with music and dance performances, and is part of the Guangzhou Chimelong Tourist Resort, which also includes Chimelong Paradise and is owned by the Chimelong Group.

Aquaventure Atlantis, Sanya, China
Aquaventure Atlantis debuted in May 2018 in Haitang Bay, one of the five major bays in Sanya, China. This $1.65 billion attraction, designed by RAD Architecture, spans 200,000 square metres, making it the largest water park in Asia.
Atlantis Sanya features 21 restaurants, bars, and lounges, along with the Lost Chambers aquarium and Dolphin Cay encounter. The water park boasts 35 attractions, including 15 custom-designed slides and rides by ProSlide Technology Inc.
Former VP of Aquaventure at Atlantis Sanya, Alan Mahony, highlighted the unique theming and storytelling that sets it apart from other water parks in Asia.

Sunway Lagoon, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Sunway Lagoon in Malaysia is a vast playground covering over 88 acres, featuring 90 rides and attractions across its Water Park, Amusement Park, Extreme Park, Wildlife Park, Scream Park, and Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon. This attraction opened in 1992 and is operated by Sunway Leisure.
Sunway Lagoon’s rides include Malaysia’s first surf simulator, the largest surf pool in the world, and the biggest vortex ride named Vuvuzela. The park also hosts performances and events at its site in Subang Jaya.

Caribbean Bay, Seoul, South Korea
Caribbean Bay is an indoor and outdoor water park located in Yonqin, Seoul. It first opened in 1996 and is part of Everland, the largest theme park in South Korea.
Caribbean Bay features a wave pool that uses advanced technology to replicate Caribbean Sea waves, alongside pools, waterslides, a spa, sauna, and the world’s longest lazy river ride.

Sunway Lost World of Tambun, Perak, Malaysia
Sunway Lost World of Tambun, operated by Sunway Leisure, is located in Ipoh, Perak. Launched in November 2004, it is surrounded by tropical jungle and natural hot springs, featuring 10 parks, including the Lost World Water Park.
The water park includes attractions like Sandy Bay and Jungle Wave Bay, the largest wave pool in Malaysia, along with an Adventure River and Kids Explorabay.
