Exciting Developments at Bahrain Surf Park

Construction is currently in progress on Bahrain Surf Park, with the contract for the build officially awarded and initial concept images of the attraction unveiled.

The Bahrain Surf Park – Club Hawaii Experience will be developed by Poullaides Construction Company (PCC), a prominent contractor renowned for executing large-scale, innovative projects.

Christos Poullaides, the founder and managing director of Poullaides Construction Company, stated: “We are dedicated to delivering a state-of-the-art facility that establishes a new benchmark for leisure and tourism in the region.”

This new attraction marks the first surf park in the Middle East and North Africa to utilise cutting-edge Wavegarden Cove technology, capable of generating up to 1,000 waves per hour for an exceptional surfing experience.

Situated within the Bilaj Al Jazayer development on Bahrain’s southwest coast, the park is a collaborative effort by Bahrain’s real estate investment firm Edamah and GFH Financial Group.

Khaled Abdulrahman Al Majed, CEO of Edamah, remarked that the project “demonstrates Bahrain’s commitment to innovation and growth.”
