ADG Celebrates EpicSurf and WaveTek Milestones

Celebrating Milestones at the Aquatic Development Group

Aquatic Development Group (ADG), a prominent firm in the design, construction, and manufacturing of water parks and recreational facilities, is celebrating significant achievements with two of its innovative products.

EpicSurf, the sole deep-water stationary surf wave produced in the US, has received the People’s Choice Award at the Surf Park Summit for its efforts to enhance accessibility in collaboration with Aqua Creek.

Additionally, ADG’s WaveTek wave technology has unveiled a new logo and branding, reflecting the company’s rich heritage of over 50 years while showcasing an ambitious vision for the future.

Award-winning Accessibility

During this year’s Surf Park Summit, the inaugural People’s Choice Award was presented to EpicSurf’s project with Aqua Creek. This initiative aimed to improve surf accessibility by creating the first standing wave lift system. The award was determined through a live audience vote, highlighting the enthusiasm and positive feedback for EpicSurf’s innovative efforts to promote diversity within the surfing community.

The collaboration with Aqua Creek, a leader in equipment designed for enhanced accessibility, seeks to provide new opportunities for individuals with limited mobility to enjoy surfing on a stationary wave. This partnership underscores EpicSurf’s commitment to eliminating physical barriers and ensuring that surfing is accessible to all.

EpicSurf has established itself as a leader in deep-water stationary surf wave technology, offering customizable waves suitable for surfers of all abilities, including adaptive athletes, veterans, and children.

Further demonstrating its commitment to accessibility, EpicSurf is the first and only standing wave to be certified as an Autism Resource by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). Features such as a retractable training bar, variable pump flow, and quick wave adjustability make EpicSurf an ideal choice for adaptive surfers and individuals with diverse needs.
